Recipes - Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Preheat 400°F oven

Large mixing bowl
Baking sheet

Ingredients:
1 Tbsp olive or grapeseed oil
Several brussels sprouts
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt

Directions:
In large bowl, toss sprouts with oil until the sprouts are completely coated in oil.
Cut sprouts in half.
Lay sprout halves cut-side down in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle lightly with salt, garlic, and onion powders.
Place sheet in oven on bottom rack.
Cook until sprouts begin to brown, the edges curl, and the center is soft (approx. 10 minutes).
Remove from oven and serve.

Roasting brussels sprouts takes away the light "sulfur" taste that so many people don't like, leaving only the smooth veggie taste behind.
