Served hot or cold, noodles can be for any meal, any time, and fit any food budget. Fresh or dried pasta can be used with sauces, vegetables, meats, and even baked with fruits to make a main course dish, savory side, or delightful dessert. Leftover pasta dishes usually freeze great, as well!
Leftover plain pasta with dry edges can be heated and refreshed without cooking it again. Place the noodles into a colander and run hot tap water through the pasta, tossing it frequently to saturate all pieces. Allow to drain and serve.
Adding oil to the water while pasta cooks keeps the noodles from sticking, but it also keeps sauces from clinging to the noodles. Use oil sparingly!
There is more to cooking than spaghetti and instant noodles. Get to know different kinds of pasta! Rice, egg, wheat, gluten-free, and vegetable... pasta comes in a huge variety of flavors, thicknesses, colors, and shapes.
