Beverage Storing Tips
Concentrated juice blends may be poured into ice cube trays and frozen. The frozen blocks may be stored in freezer bags for at least 1 year in a closed bag in the freezer. Add a juice cube to a glass of equal parts water and juice to reconstitute for a chilled drink, drop cubes into recipes for cooking, add to a smoothie, or eat like an ice pop.
Dehydrate whole berry blends, seal in containers, and freeze to store indefinitely, or shelve the dried fruit for one to 5 years (depending on fruit type and storage technique). Store dried fruit whole or as a powder in air-tight glass jars or freezer bags. Add water to make puree, baby food, or a beverage.
Dehydrate apple peels and store in air tight containers in the freezer. Blend the dried peels into smoothies, teas, and juice mixes for extra fiber and flavor!
